Dota will officially apply for the Treasury using a multi-signature address & an introduction of the multi-signature members

Respected Dota Holders,

Our proposal for the Polkadot Treasury is about to enter the on-chain voting stage. As a community project, we are committed to maintaining an open approach to development. Therefore, before the proposal proceeds, we plan to set up a multi-signature address for the management of funds.

Considering the need for efficient execution and open governance, this time we are forming the Treasury’s multi-signature committee with a combination of builders who are substantively involved in the project, honorary members with credibility, and community members who have donated to the development fund. The specific rules are as follows:

  1. Total number of multi-signature committee members: 9
  2. Number of members required for multi-signature execution: ≥6
  3. Builder representatives: 4
  4. Honorary members: 2
